The Arvada Center dance program embraces dancers of all skill levels and interests - from brand-new students to those with previous tap, ballet or jazz experience. Dance classes strengthen muscle control, balance, and coordination of movement, while boosting your mood and building your community.
Our dance classes and performances encourage everyone to explore their confidence, passion, and expression through dance. All are welcome to find their own voice through movement!
Winter classes are on sale now! Summer camps will go on sale Friday, February 13 at 11:00 am. Spring classes go on sale Friday, February 20.
General Classes for Adults
We offer a variety of dance classes for teens, adults, and seniors at a variety of experience levels. Brush up on your technique, or learn a new dance skill!
Adult classes include ballet, jazz, tap, and pilates for dancers of all skill levels.
Dance Classes for Pre-K Kids
Enrolling your child in a dance class introduces them to the joys of dance and music. The Art Start Dance program offers classes for ages 3-6 in ballet, jazz, tap, creative movement and more.
Each class is filled with imaginative expression, and teaches kids balance, rhythm, dexterity, shapes - and fun!
Arvada Center Dance Academy
Students experience the joy of dance and music while learning discipline, technique and respect that is intrinsic to all forms of dance. As the dancers mature and improve they gradually take more classes each week to ensure a positive progression in their training. All Academy students have the opportunity to perform 6 times each spring.

Arvada Center Dance Theatre
The Academy's performing company, Arvada Center Dance Theatre, performs each fall in the Black Box Theatre, six performance dates each spring on the Main Stage Theatre, as well as several community outreach performances.
